Heute, Samstag, den 16.05.2026 hat die Karwendelbahn von 09:00 bis 17:30 Uhr geöffnet.
Montag, den 18. Mai und und Dienstag, 19. Mai 2026 ist die Karwendelbahn geschlossen.


Hiking trails & via ferrata

Wanderwege und Klettersteige oberhalb von 1.500 m sind teilweise schneebedeckt und bis Ende Mai, Anfang Juni gesperrt.


Panorama­weg

Der Panoramaweg ist aus Sicherheitsgründen geschlossen.

Enjoy the view from 2244 meter with us and impress your fellow climbers with your knowledge! Whether Dreitorspitze, Semetsberg or Lautersee, our mountain enthusiast Luitpold Wurmer knows every corner and every summit and loves to solve a few mountain riddles with you. If the weather conditions shouldn’t allow the planned journey, we recommend a visit at the nature information centre, the giant telescope.

Summer

Meeting point is at the mountain station of the Karwendelbahn every Tuesday at 10:45 a.m*.

Winter

Meeting point is at the mountain station of the Karwendelbahn every Tuesday at 11:45 a.m*.
